 EBOTAN, THE NEW JAY LOU AVA'S ALBUM

 "Ebotan" or blessing Beti language of Cameroon is the title of the new album from talented guitarist Franco-Cameroonian Jay Lou Ava. The very mixed style of Jay Lou is a gentle fusion between jazz and African melodies, what he calls himself the PAJ (read pédge) or "Progressive Afro Jazz", the music of contemporary Africa.
Ebotan album is a mostly instrumental which dominates the guitar and blends moments by the violins, accordion and acoustic piano flirting with djembes, synths and balafons.

This album of 15 tracks culturally diverse uses of diverse musicians. Jay Ava Lou has worked with the legendary saxophonist Manu Dibango, the group Bumcello, singers Johnny Hallyday or Mylène Farmer, but also talented instrumentalists who worked with Prince, Seal, Tania Maria, Sinclair ...
